Submission Guidelines
The Bangladesh's International and
Constitutional Law (BDICL) blog welcomes submissions of Blog Pieces, Book Reviews,
Legislative reviews & Case comments throughout the year on issues relevant
to Bangladesh in a global scenario. We also encourage response pieces to a
published blog piece. We require the contributors to comply with the following
standards:
Electronic Submission
The BDICL blog accepts submission
for its online publication throughout the year at intllawbd@gmail.com. We are
also open to discuss ideas on a possible publication.
The contributors have to submit their write-up in Microsoft Word format. We shall accept submissions within 800-1000 words on timely relevant legal issues of particular importance for Bangladesh. The word count is inclusive of end notes. We are not likely to accept submissions exceeding 1000 words. Submissions are required to be in Times New Roman font. The main text should be in font size 12.
If you are interested to share
your views with the top quality scholarly audience of BDICL blog, please send
your submission at intllawbd@gmail.com. At the time of submission, please make
sure, you have followed the following procedure:
1. In the subject of the email, please write “Blog Submission: Title of your article”
2. The file you have attached is named as the title of your
write up.
3. In the end of your article, please include a brief author description within 120 words.
Citation Format
BDICL blog publishes write up
which are free from any kind of plagiarism. We encourage our contributors to
properly refer the original sources in their write up and cite them in endnote.
Please follow Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities(OSCOLA) for citation style.
Review Process
The submissions at BDICL blog
shall go through a review process. The editors or other peer reviewers shall
give feedbacks on your submission to develop your submission constructively.
We shall notify authors of our decisions by email. We normally do not inform authors of the status of their manuscripts other than through email. As a matter of policy, we do not discuss the reasons for our publication decisions.
Selection
You will receive a confirmation
upon submission. We will then provide you with a decision regarding the
acceptance or rejection as soon as possible.
